When you paint a landscape, you learn pretty quickly you can't really paint what you see. All the leaves, all the blades of grass – they're overwhelming.

In this workshop you'll learn ways to get the effect of leaves and grass – and barnboard and bark and dirt – without painting all of it with a brush. Have you ever painted a landscape with toilet paper?
